Broward County! We are a completely mobile practice. We travel to patients and treat them in the comfort of their homes and offices. We also travel to Palm Beach County for special circumstances. Please contact us if you’re interested in knowing if we travel to you.
Each session is one hour long with fully personalized one-on-one care. Most (if not all) sessions will include some form of hands-on manual therapy that can include anything from soft tissue mobilization to cupping. Afterwards, the remainder of the session will consist of active treatment in the form of exercise, activity modifications, motor control and movement re-training, or anything else warranted to help you reach your goals.
There is no single answer; physical therapy is not one size fits all! The amount of treatments you will need will depend on the findings during your free consultation. There are a handful of factors that will influence how many sessions you’ll need- age, how long you’ve had the pain/injury, activity level, etc. We’ve found that most patients only need around 4-8 treatments. Florida is a Direct Access state, meaning that you do not need a physician’s referral to begin physical therapy with us for the first 30 days. After the first 30 days you would need a referral to continue physical therapy. This means that you have the freedom to start getting relief for your pain immediately! A loose-fitting tank top and shorts. Nearly every session will include hands-on manual therapy, so it’s important that we are able to reach your pain points so that we can properly work on them. It’s also important so that we can observe how you move without any obstruction!
